Full basement additions have full height walls and a poured concrete floor. The exterior must be wrapped in a waterproofing membrane and also has weeping tile around the perimeter.

Depending on the size of your project you may be required to build your garage on top of a 4' frost wall and footing. A trench is excavated around the perimeter to install footings and formwork. Once backfilled stone is compacted as the base for the concrete floor.

The start of all structural concrete. Footings are poured on undisturbed soil and are the bearing point that disperses the weight of the concrete wall. Some full basement additions require interior footings to support the weight of a load bearing beam, Footings are typically built with a key way or vertical rebar to tie the wall into the footing.
